Privacy
The short version: the directory asks you for nothing. There is data about you only if you leave it, and it is two things: your email and what you answer in the assistant.
Browsing the directory
No account, no sign-up, no ads. The pages are static. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not profile you for advertisers.
If you use the assistant
We keep your answers (level, distance, what you want…), the three balls you get, your email and the report we send. It lets us resend it if it does not arrive, and lets us see what kind of players ask so we can sharpen the recommendations. None of it is sold or shared.
If you join the Golfletter
We keep your email, and your name if you give one. One letter a week, on Thursdays. Every letter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom and it works on the first click.
Where your data lives
The database is in Ireland (Turso). Email goes out through Amazon SES in Paris. The Golfletter list runs on listmonk on our own server in Germany. The site is served by Vercel.
Who else sees it
The wording of the report is written by OpenAI from your answers and the chosen balls; that call does not carry your email. Nobody else.
The ball photos
They belong to the USGA. They are linked from usga.org, never copied or stored here: when you see one, your browser asks them for it directly.
Deleting everything
