The concept of \u00abgolf etiquette\u00bb<\/strong> comes from tradition and unwritten rules that ensure a smooth, safe and respectful game on the course. These rules not only enhance the experience of all players, but also maintain the spirit of golf as a sport of gentlemen and gentlewomen. Although they are not strictly part of the Golf Rules<\/strong>, yes, they are essential for coexistence in the countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can also be found in the Golf Rules<\/strong> under the concept of \u00abSpirit of the Game\u00bb<\/strong> (The Spirit of the Game), especially in section 1 of the Rules of Golf<\/strong> published by the USGA and the R&A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are often referred to as \u00abRules of Golf \u2013 Etiquette\u00bb<\/strong> or simply \u00abGolf Etiquette Guidelines\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Do not talk, make noise or move when another player is executing a stroke.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Never position yourself directly behind or in the line of fire of another player to avoid distractions and risks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Repair Divots (pieces of grass raised at impact) and fix Impacts (Pitch Marks) on Greens<\/strong>
    Always clean up any marks you leave on the green and any divots (pieces of torn grass) on the fairway.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Rake the Bunkers<\/strong>
    After playing from a bunker, use the rake to leave the sand in good condition for the next players.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Priority in the Field<\/strong>
    In general, faster groups or solo players have priority. Be aware and yield if necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Do not leave trash or damage the field<\/strong>
    Please remove any debris and avoid causing unnecessary damage to turf, greens or course equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Don't step on another player's putting line and be sure to mark your ball correctly if it is in the path of another shot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Each club may have its own dress code, but in general, golf attire should be appropriate and respectful of the venue.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Safety First<\/strong>
    Never hit if there are people in the path of the ball and always yell \u201cBALL!\u201d if an uncontrolled hit could put someone at risk.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
