Nike Golf Balls

NIke golf bolas

Nike entered the golf market in the 1990s and quickly made a name for itself by signing contracts with big names like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. Its product line included everything from apparel and footwear to golf clubs and balls. Despite these huge sponsorships and the quality of its products, Nike decided to reorient its strategy.

In August 2016, Nike announced that it would be exiting the golf equipment business, which included ceasing to manufacture golf clubs, bags, and balls. The company explained that this decision was due to a desire to focus on its core business of athletic apparel and footwear, where they already had a strong presence and market leadership.

I will tell you briefly which have been its most popular models and their characteristics:

Nike RZN Tour and Nike RZN Black

  • RZN Tour: Perfect for lots of control and spin on the green. Soft feel thanks to its urethane cover.
  • RZN Black: Ideal for maximum distance. Less spin on long shots, longer and straighter trajectories.

Nike Vapor Black:

  • Two-piece construction: Great distance with large, soft core. Ionomer cover, durable and firm feel.

Nike One (Nike One Tour and Nike One Tour D)

  • One Tour: Excellent for control and spin. Soft feel and precision.
  • One Tour D: Designed for maximum distance. Less spin on long shots, perfect for drivers.

Nike golf ball becomes a collector's item

Although you can still find them in some stores or online, they are not producing new models. As a result, they become a rarer item as time goes on, and therefore more valuable.

If you find Nike golf balls that you like, it may be a good idea to grab some while they are available, as they will eventually become harder to come by.

Nike golf balls, where to find them.

Since they are not currently manufactured, the most common place to find them is in selected packs from balls recovered from lakes. Here is a link to the Amazon section where you can check the price and if you are interested, I hope it is helpful!
